Cassandra Lovejoy serves as Policy & Managing Director of the National Energy Assistance Directors Association (NEADA), the organization that represents all 50 state directors of the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
In the 10 years she has been with NEADA, Cassandra has overseen a wide variety of projects and policy efforts dedicated to improving energy access, housing affordability, energy efficiency, and water access for low-income households. Cassandra has also worked in energy and environment issues at the Environmental Defense Fund, the Council on Environmental Quality, and the Office of Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon.
Cassandra holds an M.P.P. from Georgetown University and B.A.s in Political Science and French from Rutgers University.
