A bipartisan group US Senators signed a letter dated October 16 requesting that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) release 2020 LIHEAP funds “as quickly and at as high of a level as possible.” Co-authored by Senators Jack Reed of New Hampshire and Susan Collins of Maine, the letter stresses the important role LIHEAP plays in keeping the heat on for millions of families across the country.
