The Administration’s released its FY 2014 Budget today. It calls for deep cuts to LIHEAP and CSBG. Administration’s Budget Calls for Deep Cuts to LIHEAP
The Administration’s released its FY 2014 Budget today. The budget would cut the appropriation from $3.26 billion (after the sequester) to $2.97 billion. Congress Passes Full-Year Continuing Resoultion
Congress today adverted a full scale shut-down of government services today by passing a full year continuing resolution. Hopefully, HHS will now move forward on providing a final allocation of the remaining funds (about $200 million) after the impact of the seqester.
Sequester to Cut $175 Million from LIHEAP
The FY 2013 LIHEAP appropriation was cut by 5% or $175 million in the March 1 OMB Sequester Report to Congress. We are still waiting in on a final table from HHS.
