Today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released the full $3.650 billion in Fiscal Year 2019 appropriations for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. The appropriation represents an increase from last year’s funding level of $3.637 billion. This is the first time in recent years that the full appropriation has been allocated at the beginning of the fiscal year.
